Fence Repair in McNairy County, TN
Most fences don’t need full replacement — they need a leaning post reset, a sagging gate rehung, a few panels replaced, or storm-down sections rebuilt. We diagnose the actual problem and quote the actual fix.

Common Fence Repairs We Handle
- Leaning posts — pull the leaner, dig a fresh hole next to the original (or in the same hole), reset in concrete
- Sagging gates — rehang on new hinges, add diagonal bracing, reset gate post if needed
- Storm-damaged sections — replace downed panels or pickets, reset any uprooted posts, splice broken wire
- Rotted pickets / panels — selective replacement of just the bad pickets, blending with existing weathered ones where possible
- Broken barbed wire / field fence — splice with proper crimps, re-tension, fix or replace the wood corner that’s pulling in
- Chain link sagging — re-tension top and bottom wires, reset stretched fabric, replace bent terminal posts
- Gate hardware failure — new heavy-duty hinges, latches, and gate closers sized to the gate
- Cattle / livestock pressure damage — reset corners, restring wire, repair gates that have been pushed
Repair vs. Replace — The Honest Take
Most fence companies want to sell you a full replacement because it’s a bigger job. We tell you the truth about what your fence actually needs. Common patterns:
- Fence is 5–10 years old, looks bad, some posts leaning: Usually repair. Reset 3–6 posts, replace 5–10 pickets, rehang the gate, the fence has another 10 years in it.
- Fence is 15+ years old, multiple sections rotting, posts moving: Probably replace. The wood is at the end of its life and patching just delays the inevitable. We’ll be honest with you about this.
- One section knocked down by a tree or vehicle: Always repair. Replace just the damaged section, blend with existing where we can.
- Privacy fence with all the pickets fine but every other post leaning: Reset the bad posts. The pickets stay.

How We Price Fence Repair
Smaller jobs we price by the visit + materials. Bigger repair jobs we price by the linear foot or by the post/panel count. Either way, we quote in writing before any work starts. Here’s how our quotes work.
